this wealthy Rodian was one of the four hunters who established big-game safari operations within the Etyyy, or the Rodian Hunting Grounds, on the planet Kashyyyk, during the height of the New Order. Unlike Ziven Tissar or Sordaan Xris', Tripp Rar hunted for the fun of it, trying to stay out of the political battles that led them to in-fighting. (SWGAL)

this Chiss female was a member of the Expeditionary Library's staff, during the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy. When Luke Skywalker arrived at Csilla during his search for the rogue planet Zonama Sekot, Tris was assigned to help his group search through the Library's records for any evidence of the planet. Tris
this creature was native to the planet Coyn, and was domesticated by the Coynites for use as a mount. These large, well-muscled, equine creatures had a light brown pelt and six strong legs. Individual tris were paired with young Coynite warriors at ta very early age, in order for both to form a spiritual bond which lasted a lifetime. In the wild, tris were intelligent carnivores. It was illegal to transport specimens off Coyn during the New Order. Thaddeus Ross almost got caught transporting a baby tris to Tatooine, shortly before he took Adalric Brandl to Trulalis. Triskele Valve
this was one component of many living weapons created by the Yuuzhan Vong. The triskele valve was used to seal the external weaponry used aboard their starships, to protect the innards of the weapon and the ship from bein exposed to the vacuum of deep space. When the weapon was fired, the triskele valve opened briefly, to allow the expulsion of plasms or matter, then quickly sealed shut. (NEGW)

Trispzest
this was a form of lightsaber combat developed by Kharys, the Majestrix of the planet Skye. It was based on the Form VII style of lightsaber combat, but unlike the Vaapad style of Mace Windu, Trispzest melded S'kyri martial arts with Jedi techniques to create Trispzest. Much of this form's techniques took advantage of the S'kytri ability to fly, and emphasized the sai cha technique with an airborne variation. Kharys used the technique to devastating effect when a group of Corellian smugglers landed on Skye without prior consent. (WOTC)

Trith Prancer
this large, blue-gray creature was bred on several worlds as a mount. They had six strong legs, and genetic manipulation had given them a natural form of saddle along their spine. Many aristocrats considered them luxurious curiosities, while others trained them and rode them in competition. One of the hardest things a rider could master was the ability to have the prancer rise up on its two rear legs and paw the air with its front four legs. Harder still was the ability to have the prancer gallop on its rear four legs, while holding the front two legs in the air. The trith prancers communicated via a series of musical trills. (RP)

one of the primary hyperspace commerce lanes to the Kathol Sector, the Trition Trade Route connected Minos Cluster to the Kathol Outback. The route was terminated by the Kolatill and Karideph Systems. (DARK, KO)

the primary planet of the Trogan system, it was the site of the initial meeting between the various smuggling leaders who later formed the Smugglers' Alliance. Led by Talon Karrde, the smugglers first joined forces during Grand Admiral Thrawn's reign of terror, some five years after the Battle of Endor. Trogan's natural ecosystem was unusually violent, with strong storms which swept across its barren steppes and lush plains. The three moons that orbited the world created intense tidal activity, and the coastlines of Trogan's continents were continually eroding. (DFR, TLC, LCSB)

this was the name used to describe the human population of the planet Trogan (NJOSB)

Tro'Har
a frigid world covered with frozen ice and methane, Tro'Har was the fifth planet in the Coyn System. The name "Tro'Har" means "farthest" in the Coynese language. It was the location of a navigational beacon placed there by the Coynites to direct incoming traffic. (PG3)

Troig
this was a species of two-headed alien native to the planet Pollillus. Troigs often have different colorations on each head, most often green and red, and each head was supported by a long neck. Their stout bodies ware studded with four long arms and short legs. Each head, the left known as Saprah and the right as Saprin, was capable of independent thought, and was humanoid in appearance. Troigs with three or more heads are born, although they were extremely rare. They were also revered and celebrated among their people. (SW1, TPM, IG1, SWDB)

Troiken
this Outer Rim planet was the homeworld of the Xexto, a species of thin-bodied alien has six appendages that can be used either arms or legs, depending on the needs of the individual creature. The planet itself was in a tide-locked orbit around its sun, making one side of the planet continually bathed in sunlight and radiation while the opposite side was frigid. The Xexto civilization existed on the edge of these two extreme environments, where the landscape was bearable. Much of the landmass found on Troiken was covered with carnivorous plants, fearsome predators, and meat-eating insects, making it virtually uninhabited. (TPM, RAC, IG1, SHW, UANT)

Trol
this teenager was part of the Alliance forces dispatched to Sulon to help the rebels in their attempt to throw off Imperial subjugation. Trol was killed when the Imperial freighter, under the command of Lieutenant Brazack, shot down the missile he was trying to fire. The missile exploded, killing all the rebels in its blast radius. this was a nickname given to Jedi Master Cin Drallig by his students. (E3N)

Trome
this race of bearded beings lived in the hollow trees of the Forest Moon of Endor. (ECAR)

Trome, Notha
this depot manager worked for Starway Services, in Taldaak Station. It was Trome, under orders from Akanah and the White Current, who ordered work on the Mud Sloth to take precendence over all other work. (TT)

Tromig
this being, a smuggler who was based on Nar Shaddaa during the early years of the New Republic, carried a modified DL-22 blaster at his hip. (GUN)

Trommer, Ranulf
this son of a life-time military family grew up on Vogel 7, where his father was stationed during the New Order. His father and smoothly reconciled the transition between the Old Republic and the New Order, but Ranulf did not. He followed in his father's footsteps, though, and made it through the Academy on Vogel 3 with good grades. He eventually became one of the Empire's best TIE Fighter pilots, until he was chosen for the raid on Aguarl 3. There, his entire wing of TIE Bombers was destroyed, and only his ability to fly kept him from crashing into the seas. He managed to return to the Star Destroyer Ravagor, where a medical droid waas forced to replace some of his limbs with prosthetic, cyborg limbs. Following this accident, Trommer was assigned as an aide to Governor Grigor on M'haeli, and given orders to keep a watchful eye on the Governor. While on M'haeli, he infiltrated a group of Alliance supporters, and won the favor of the human heiress, Mora. The rebels held Trommer in obvious suspicion until Trommer discovered the Grigor was secretly mining dragite and keeping the profits for himself. Trommer also discovered that Grigor was using H'drachi slaves to mine the dragite. The group of rebels, with the assistance on Leia Organa, were able to destroy the dragite mines and bring Grigor's reign to an end. Trommer then defected to the Alliance. (ROC)

Tromonid
an insectile creature with four legs, a long tail, and two large pincers used to capture its prey. The female of the species special sacs along her side that fill with poison, making the tromonid deadly to eat. The tromonid is often milked for its poison by criminals. (JTH)

Trompa
a massive, bipedal creature, the trompa was a 3-meter tall killing monster native to a number of heavily-forested planets. It had long arms, with huge paws and sharp claws. It was covered with fur, and its face resembled a cross between a gorilla and a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The trompa was believed to be a distant relation to the wampa ice creature found on Hoth, but it has adapted to life in warmer climates. The average trompa was fairly intelligence but, depsite its apeparance, was not particularly adept at hunting. They tended to live in environments where prey was plentiful, removing the need to go to great lengths to capture prey, (GCQ, WOTC)

Tron Boral Maneuver
sometimes described as esoteric, this starship maneuver was used by Grand Admiral Thrawn during his first sweep through New Republic space about five years after the Battle of Endor. (VOF)

Tronis
this is the smallest of the three continents found on Algara II. (PG2)

Tront
this Gamorrean pirate worked for Grappa the Hutt. Tront hated droids, and was fond of slicing them in half with his vibroaxe. Although Tront worked for Grappa, he was slightly more loyal to his leader, Sol Mon. (CE2)

Tront
this was a common male name among the Gamorrean people. Like most Gamorrean names, it was essentially gibberish that indicated what a Gamorrean would do if you made him angry. (GCG)

Tronten, Garox
this man was the producer of the noted talkshow Essence, during the year leading up to the Clone Wars. Tronten managed to arrange a full-hour interview with Jonava Billane, during her attempt to recover her daughter, Ludi, from the Jedi Knights. (HNN4)

Troob
one of the two sentient races native to the planet Tahlboor, the Troobs were humanoid in stature. They had dark blue skin, unlike the Hobors which tended toward brownish skin. Both races are characterized by their wide faces, which are flanked by a several rings of spade-shaped flaps. Five sets of these flaps ring the upper part of the head, and hair is interspersed among the flaps. The flaps stand upright, away from the head. The rest of their faces are cat-like, with a long, flat nose and toothy mouths. Like the Hobors, a thick mane of hair covers the back of their head. Most of the Troobs are heavyset in build. Shortly before the Battle of Yavin, the Troobs and Hobors appealed to Tion Hegemony to assist in reconciling a generations-old feud between them while negotiating a trade agreement. Counselor Harthan was called in, but was manipulated out of position by his son, Jake, who hoped to get the two races to destroy each other so he could control Mount Yeroc. Eventually, with the help of R2-D2 and C-3PO, Jake's plans were thwarted and peace was restored. (DRPC)

Troomic Sound Tube
this long, specially-designed tube was used on a Bontormian Klesplong to resonate the musical tones of the instrument into a speaker, located at the Klesplong's base. (VD)

Troomis
an Alliance spy posing as a tech for the Empire, he joined the Alliance after the Imperials killed his sister in am ambush. His cover, as a dim-witted technician, allowed him to make a wide range of contacts at the Imperial bases he worked in. He was responsible for relaying the recorded information regarding the attack by the Imperial Oplovis fleet on Mantooine. (RASB)

Trooper
this was a nickname used by Han Solo to describe his friend, Alexsandr Badure. (HSL)

Trooper Scooper
this was the term used by the New Republic to describe those Ssi-ruuvi starships that scoured battle zones for survivors. The name came from the way in which these ships simply scooped up the survivors as they moved, bringing any living being inside where it could be enteched for its life energy. In a gruesome action, the Ssi-ruuk them ejected the discarded bodies as projectile weapons, in an effort to psychologically damage their enemies. (FH2)

TrooperBreath
this drink, created in the bars of Il Avali on Druckenwell, had a weird, chartreuse color. (TFE)

Troopers' Rest
located on the planet Sochi, this was the name of the "retirement home" to which aging Imperial stormrtoopers were dispatched, after they had lived beyond their early youth and could no longer function on a par with their younger peers. (PM4)

Troos
this planet was known for the diversity of is arthropodal species. (COG)

Troos Armored Crebik
this creature lived in the subartic forests of the planet Troos, making its home in the pinnoc trees and preying on other arthropods. What made these creatures unique was their method of hunting prey. Because their shells were extremely thick and heavy, crebiks would simply hang in the trees and wait for their prey to pass below. The crebik then released its grip and fell like a stone, crushing the prey and breaking open its shell to expose the flesh. Crebiks themselves were immune from attack, since no other creature on Troos could penetrate their own thick shell. Crebiks mated by traveling to the nearby body of water and consuming great quantities of it, causing their bodies to expand and exposing vulnerable flesh. A mating dance ensues, and the crebiks release the water at the end of the ritual. Each crebik had eight legs, the foremost pair being tipped with heavy claws and used like arms. A powerful pair of pincers surrounded their mouths. (COG)

Trooshti
this small, winged species of lizard resembles a yellow-furred dragonfly. They have blue wings and red eyes, and require a wet, damp environment in which to live. A colony of them took up residence in a cave-like water chamber in an abandoned moisture farm on Tatooine, after being transported to the planet as exotic pets. Shortly before the historic Boonta Eve Classic podrace won by Anakin Skywalker, the batteries which provided power to the pumps that kept water flowing to their hidden caves failed. A group of daring trooshti traveled to Mos Espa and stole the battery out of Anakin's podracer. They were caught by Jar Jar Binks and Queen Amidala, who tracked them to the moisture farm. Amidala recognized the problem with their equipment and fixed a reversed polarity problem which had been draining their batteries instead of charging them. The trooshti then returned Anakin's battery. (QA)

Trop
this common, though archaic, Zabrak surname meant "shipwright". It originally referred to builders of sailing ships, although later referred to speeder builders. (GCG)

Troper, Milac
this man served the Galactic Scout Corps some forty years before the Battle of Yavin, before joining the Imperial Diplomatic Corps. In his career as a scout, Troper and his partners, Mission Commander Dayla Kev and Lietuenant Hereven, once traveled to an undiscovered jungle world. It was the third-to-last planet on their agenda, but it proved to be the most dangerous. Troper fled in a panic, fearing that his comrades had been killed by a gasnit. Troper later reported the loss of Kev and Hereven, and was temporarily suspended for his lack of valor. A rescue mission failed to locate Kev and Hereven, but it did report back on the ferocity of the gasnits. Troper was re-instated, and he eventually joined the Imperial Diplomatic Corps. Unknown to Troper, however, was the fact that both Kev and Hereven survived the attack of the gasnit. Many years later, Troper was aboard the Galactic Horizon to negotiate a treaty when he discovered that Dayla Kev had been plotting to exact revenge against him. Only his foresight in hiring a team of freelance mercenaries to be his bodyguards saved him from her attacks. Troper tried to explain to her that his flight from the jungle planet haunted him nearly every day, but she refused to believe him. However, Troper managed to escape unharmed while Dayla and her son, Hereven, were taken into custody. (GMR6)

Trophill Gardens
located in the East Minor section of Coruscant's southern hemisphere, this was a major tourist attraction on the planet. Most of the Gardens were contained in a huge, high-walled, circular plaza, and provided visitors with the illusion of being on a peaceful world of exotic plantlife. Perhaps the Gardens' most popular attraction, and what set it apart from the Skydome Botanical Gardens, were the Green Mazes. (SOL, CCW)

Trophy Chase
this team sport evolved on Dalos IV, and involved teams of riders flying immature nephs to maneuver over a wide playing field. Using repulsor-equipped clubs, players tried to knock an anti-grav ball into the opposing team's target ring. There were few rules to the sport, and most matches were decidedly violent in nature. Tropis, Adarian
a former legislator, Adarian and a group of idealistic colonists left Salliche about 250 years before the Galactic Civil War. They left in search of their own world, being disaffected by the corruption and ineffective bureaucracy, and eventually settled on Varonat. The colonists instituted an agrarian lifestyle, which they felt was threatened by the slime trails left by the Morodin. However, the Morodins found a way to communicate with the colonists, and revealed the value of the nutrient-rich slime. (SWJ1, SWJ13)

Tropis-on-Varonat
this is a jungle city found the planet Varonat, found in the backwater of the Ison Corridor. Note that The Essential Guide to Characters lists Tropis-on-Varonat as Tropis-on-Varont, a planet. (SWJ1, EGC, DFRSB)

Tropsobor
an Imperial escort carrier assigned to transport TIE Advanced prototypes to the Protector near Gerbaud 2. (TIE)

a planet subjugated by the Empire. (POT)

Trosilon
this was the codename used by Fulkrehm Protial during the Galactic Civil War. (CRO)

Trosslik
this Trandoshan was the leader of his clan during the years leading up to the Battle of Naboo. When he learned that one of his own clan members, a thug named Gahseelik, had left Trandosha to join the criminal organization of Gardulla the Hutt, Trosslik posted a bounty for his capture and return to Trandosha. Trosslik claimed that Gahseelik had "disgraced the clan by leaving Trandosha to work for a filthy Hutt." (BH)

this was one of the two domesticated zeles owned by Kirlan Swens, on the planet Dagro, during the height of the Clone Wars. (SWI76)
