Triskele Valve
this was one component of many living weapons created by the Yuuzhan Vong. The triskele valve was used to seal the external weaponry used aboard their starships, to protect the innards of the weapon and the ship from bein exposed to the vacuum of deep space. When the weapon was fired, the triskele valve opened briefly, to allow the expulsion of plasms or matter, then quickly sealed shut.
