33:8:1

Renci Tosh crashlands her Z-95 at the edge of a canyon maze on Ord Mantell, about 24 km from the frontier town of Great Rock. A few hundred meters outside town, as she stumbles towards it, she is captured by thugs working for a local crimelord and thrown in a crude jail cell.

33:8:2

Aarack Starlighter meets Maevyn on Cerea in the Outsider Citadel while picking up a shipment of malium for Arnot. The cargo is to be delivered on Ord Mantell, and Maevyn hires the smuggler to get there.

33:8:3

Renci Tosh escapes her crude cell in Great Rock. Raiders haul her Z-95 to their lair. Meanwhile, Aarack and Maevyn arrive on Ord Mantell late in the afternoon on board the Noble Wolf. They land at the spaceport and drive off to the town of Great Rock. While waiting for their contact at Rexi's Bar, they meet Treyk Ferd'sa. Later, Renci Tosh approached the group and makes them an offer, but they are interrupted by thugs who are trying to re-capture Renci. Treyk, in town looking for someone to repair his ship, helps them fight and goes with them. While trying to leave town, they are again attacked, this time by bounty hunter Gida Luroon. They manage to defeat her and her goons and leave Great Rock on foot. They camp somehwere for the night and hear strange noises?

33:8:4

They are again attacked by Gida Luroon while travelling in the canyons, but overtake her and leave her weaponless in the wastes. While camping at night, they encounter Teerik the Rodian hunter who warns them about Savrips.

33:8:5

The heroes encounter a Savrip, but Maevyn uses the Zwei to calm it down and feels sentience in what was thought to be a dangerous animal. They arrive at the crash site late afternoon only to discover that the ship was dragged away. After a rest, the heroes follow the tracks to a sunken mesa, where some raiders had a base. It was nighttime and the heroes proceeded to attack the raiders and infiltrate the base. After overtaking the raiders, Aarack started repairs on the Z-95 Headhunter. Pretty soon, the chief of the raiders came back from the spaceport. Treyk spotted him before he entered the base and they heroes shot him from the top of the walls.

33:8:6

After Aarack worked all night on repairing the Z-95, Renci paid the heroes and flew off. Later that day, the group started back towards the spaceport riding on two banthas, but Maevyn left the group mid-way to investigate the Mantellian Savrips.

33:8:7

Aarack and Treik arrive at the spaceport in the morning. Treik goes to see some Bothans to get info about his clan. In exchange, they ask him to find out about a new customer in town: Lando Calrissian. Later, they look for Aarack's contact Cabet Lom to deliver his cargo. They go to the Pink Sky Casino and gamble a while. Then they meet Lom, who sends his assistant Herbert to overlook the cargo transfer. The transfer on the malium from the Wolf is completed, Lom transfers his payment to Arnot, and the heroes get wait for Maevyn.

33:8:8

Maevyn arrives on his bantha in the morning. The heroes leave Ord Mantell, towing Treyk's A-24 scout ship.

33:8:9 - 33:8:10

The heroes arrive at the Rebel training ground on Kalarba, under the cover of "Sorbo's Travelling Circus", to meet their contact "Stinger". As soon as the PCs arrive, ISB agent Nir Rinit arrests the clowns. With the help of Kikkilik, a Verpine Mechanic who was sent by his hive to observe the Alliance and worked at the circus, the heroes escaped with Stinger's droid R4-L0, who has the coordinates for the Rebel High Command Base in the Chrellis system.

33:8:11 - 33:8:13

The heroes travel in hyperspace to the Chrellis system. They get to know each other a bit.

33:8:14

The heroes arrive at the Rebel High Command base on a planetoid in the Chrellis system. They meet with the base commander Ramis Jakobs and are assigned quarters. Mon Mothma gives a welcome speech.

33:8:15

The heroes are asked to go rescue a team of commandoes and defecting Incom engineers who are stranded in the Miro asteroid field aboard the Corvette Stellar Damsel. The heroes get there a few hours later. The mission is successful. They had to fight off mynocks, zero-g stormtroopers and a Star Destroyer, and suffered the loss of two commandos, R4-L0 and the Damsel. The Incom Engineers, led by Voors Voorhoorian, are bringing the blueprints for a new starfighter they have been developing on Fresia: the T-65.

33:8:16

The heroes get back to the base with the engineers and commandos. The rest of the Incom employees have arrived in the meantime, bringing with them 4 working prototypes of the X-Wing. The heroes spend some R&R time at the base.

33:8:17

Aarack goes to supplies to requisition an astromech droid, but the Alliance is short on droids, especially with the new X-Wing fighters. The Rebellion needs droids! Commander Jakobs asks the heroes to go to the Industrial Automaton factory in Voma, the capital of Trevura, and meet with the plant manager Essar Gonzales, who is a Rebel sympathizer. They are given an astromech named R3-B4, which they can keep if the mission is successful.

33:8:18

The heroes arrive on Trevura, and right away the docking bay attendant locks in their R3 unit and calls in the stromtroopers. It turns out the Empire believes a computer virus has infected all the droids in the city and they are trying to capture or clean them all up. Civilians are offered rewards for capturing suspicious droids, especially IA models. After an interrogation at the Imperial garrison, the heroes are released and go to meet with Essar who explains that only one droid was affected with the virus, a MD-2 model. The heroes ally themselves with the Imperial commander and track down the droid in the slums. A little girl took it to cure her father's illness. The Imperials destroy the droid, and the heroes escape with a load of 56 astromechs thanks to Essar. They leave a sum of money for the care of the girl's father.

33:8:19

Hyperspace.

33:8:20

Back on Chrellis, the heroes meet General Dodonna who just joined the Alliance. His son Vrad is one of the first X-Wing pilots. After some rest and some maintenance on the ship, the heroes have to resume their duties.

33:8:21 - 33:8:30

Aarack's story: Aarack has to go back and see Arnot. After a few days in hyperspace, he arrives to Arnot's base on Ingo. Arnot voices his disappointment in Aarack lately, but gives him a job and a chance to prove himself again. Aarack is to pick up an unknown cargo on Alderaan from a contact named Kissinger and deliver it to Imperial Center. Arnot also sends two of his employees, Trossk and Bleedo, along to make sure the job is accomplished. Unknown to the smuggler, a tracking device is planted on the Wolf?

Aarack arrives on Alderaan. Weapons are not allowed on the peaceful planet, so he hopes he won't get into much trouble. He goes to an old empty warehouse on the outskirts of Aldera city and meets up with Arnot's client, an Aldera University professor named Kissinger. Aarack is horrified to see that his cargo is a human woman and her young daughter!

Right away, Aarack hides his disgust and takes the two women to the spaceport. They have to stay out of sight of the starport authorities. After some minor problems ("Hey! You said her name was Alima!"), and with help from Trossk and Bleedo, they managed to get aboard and get off the planet. Aarack heads for Imperial Center, but he has no intention of delivering the women to whomever wants them. He wants to take them to the Alliance. But before they get there, Aarack has to dispatch Arnot's two goons. He manages to knock them out, with the help of Jara and without damaging the Wolf too much, and binds them in the cargo hold.

Aarack changes directions and heads towards the Rebel High Command Base on Chrellis. But as soon as he reaches the sector where the base is located, the Wolf is wrenched out of hyperspace by an Interdictor cruiser. After answering some questions, the Imperials let the Wolf pass. But the first thing Aarack does when arriving to the secret Alliance base in the Chrellis sytem, is inform newly-arrived General Dodonna about the nearby Imperial patrol. The General orders an immediate evacuation. Aarack leaves Trossk and Bleedo in the Rebels' care. Then he plans to go back to Alderaan and find out what is going on.

During the hyperspace trip, the woman, whose name is Erika Supa, asks Aarack: "You really seem to be trying to help us. Thanks for not taking us to Coruscant. What is your name good sir?" As soon as they hear the name Starlighter, the woman says that she's heard the name before, and the little girl, Jara, says excitedly "Yes, mommy. Ms. Keane told us about a woman named Starlighter who had to sacrifice all the things that were important to her in order to have her son be free."

Aarack asks more questions and finds out that this Ms. Keane, Jara's teacher at Pokey Oaks Kindergarten, has a special interest in the Force, and helps the few Force-sensitive children that she finds to learn about their abilities. Just when things are getting interesting, an alarm sounds aboard the ship, and the sensors instantly identify the same Interdictor cruiser and Imperial Star Destroyer who stopped the Wolf before.

"Attention Lone Wolf. We were informed by your last port of call on Alderaan that you are carrying two refugees aboard. Stand down so we can board your ship to retrieve the refugee. Resist and we will be forced to destroy you."

Maevyn's story: Meanwhile, Maevyn is dropped off in an area near to his monastery on Cerea, with a comm signal for when he is ready to be picked up again. He rummages through the ruins of the Zwei-do monastery to find any traces of survivors or bodies. After seing that, although the structural damage for the building was minimal, there wasn't much left of note, He sits down in the meditation hall in the monastery and meditates for a long time. (He lost track of time so it was difficult to tell for how long) He is then interrupted by a voice calling out. A cloaked lady was coming up the mountain!

After offering her condolences regarding the monastery and expressing an interest in the Zwei-do path, she gives Maevyn the clue that he needed - one of the beings responsible for this atrocity was living in a village nearby. But he not only lived there, he controls the populace under his reign of terror. So Maevyn travels on foot to the nearest city, buys civilian clothes (the element of surprise is essential) and rents an aryx to make the journey to the village where this man was located.

When he reaches the village, Maevyn realizes as he makes his way through the streets that the people in this village are being oppressed, presumably from that man living in a house located on a nearby hill. So Maevyn waits for the cover of night to investigate this house. With aryx-like stealth he climbs a tree by a river on the village outskirts. A young Cerean teen with a blaster spots him. With unparalleled Zwei-do power, Maevyn quickly overtakes him. The teen, obviously mystified with the display of power, suggests that Maevyn meet with his master. So Maevyn goes along with him to the house on the hill.

The human who lives there recognizes Maevyn immediately as a Zwei-do monk, and challenges him to a duel. They fight for awhile... and when it looks bleak for Maevyn, the cloaked woman appeared! She holds the darksider and instructs Maevyn to finish him off. Feeling the rage for his destroyed fellow monks, Maevyn gives in to the dark side and strikes him. After the battle, the lady tells Maevyn that she can complete his training and tempts him with power. When Maevyn resists, he is imprisoned.

In the prison, he meets a surviving Zwei-do monk and learns the truth - the cloaked lady is actually an Imperial Inquisitor, and the man he had just killed was nothing but her henchman. He also learns that the Cerean villagers are planning a revolt against their Imperial oppressors. Soon, the house is invaded by the entire town of Cereans, trying to rid the place of the Imperial Inquisitor and her cohorts. Maevyn and the other prisoners escape, except for his fellow monk, who stands his ground, sacrificing himself against the Inquisitor. Maevyn is then told to leave Cerea - he is no longer safe there. And that's exactly what he does. The Imperial Inquisitor escaped from the Cerean revolt.

Treyk's story: After finding out the identity of a surviving pirate who was blamed for his clan's death, Treyk Ferd'sa is assigned a Y-Wing fighter and spends a few days training in the flight simulators with Wing Commander Varth. Later, he flies to Kwest Station, and thanks to a Kubaz informer meets with the pirate Dorok Zalaster. Zalaster claims that he is looking to augment his small pirate fleet consiting of the 344-class Light Cruiser The Last Thing and four Redthorn-class scout ships.

One of his potential recruits is the man Treyk is looking for: Urias "Ironclaw" Xhaxin, the last survivor, with his crew of three aboard the Corellian Gunship Free Lance, of the Imperial's attack, who put the blame on them for the destruction of the Ferd'sa clan's merchant fleet. Treyk decides to join the pirates and has to go through 3 tests to prove himself. He beat a Gamorrean in a melee fight; he beat the scout ships in a piloting contest; and he proved his loyalty by freeing one of Zalaster's men from his detention cell.

Now a new member of the pirate group, they hyper to the Coyn system where Zalaster's sources tell him Xhaxin is hiding. After paying off a local guide named Tamaron Pol in En'Tra'Tais starport, the pirates find out about a location in a dark alley. Zalaster sends Treik first to open the door. He is attacked by a Coynite youth who is looking to steal his possessions. After knocking down the teenager, he blasts the door open and meets a Coynite warrior. Instead of fighting, Treik agrees to surrender his blaster in order to meet with the "ally". Turns out Xhaxin is under the protection of the Coynites, who consider him an honorable warrior.

Treik convinces Xhaxin to turn the tables on Zalaster, as he is suspecting Zalaster is trying to collect the bounty on Xhaxim's head. Just when he explains that he should frame Zalaster and his band instead of Xhaxin for the bounty, Zalaster's pirate goons attack the safehouse. Four of the Coynite warriors beat back the goons, but Zalaster wounds Xhaxin with his blaster carbine. After he is wounded in turn by Treik, Zalaster runs away. But he is stopped but Treik who knocks him out with a blaster bolt in the back.

The Coynites bring Zalaster and his goons to justice, but are not able to stop The Last Thing from escaping. Treik is awarded with 10,000 credits for the capture of the pirates and is declared an honorable fighter by the City Council. Treik then accompanies Xhaxin to a local hospital and convinces him to join the Rebel Alliance.

Next: The heroes are relocated to the Atrivis Sector HQ on Generis, and their first mission for them is to rescue Talnar. And later, they meet one of the last Jedi Masters...
