"At the risk of losing ALL cool points, tonight's (Sunday, October 17) episode of the ABC drama "Brothers and Sisters" had a SW reference in the last fifteen minutes of the show. When the character Justin finds his mother making a large batch of peanut butter cookies, he asks why she is "making enough peanut butter cookies to feed the Grand Army of the Republic."'
Continuing with pop culture references, Chuck continued to add to its ever-growing list of nods to Star Wars in last Monday's episode titled, "Chuck Versus the Couch Lock". At about 25:00 minutes into the episode, Chuck's friend Morgan uses a Stormtrooper helmet to hide a temporarily paralyzed Colonel Casey.
It should also be noted that the new Hawaii Five-0 series on ABC has had a couple of Star Wars references within episodes 3 and 4; one referring to a lawyer as Darth Vader and the other referencing the Jedi Mind Trick.

I thought you'd be interested in the resume that I sent to Lucasfilm along with my REAL resume and cover letter. Unfortunately I never heard back from them, but hey, what are you gonna do? I based the text and layout off of the OT movies and Dark Forces games. I really liked how they had a glowing red, white, and blue on black motif rather than the yellow on brown that the Clone Wars has. The datapad was loosely based on the KOTOR datapads, NOT the prequel ones (which I think look like silver Nokia N-Gages).

Star Wars lands at #7 on Zagat's surveyed list of the top 20 films based on "overall quality" and also shows up in a couple other categories. (Thanks Dustin!)
ForceCast listener Abraham from Texas sent over the following...
"There is an Apple event going on now (Back to the Mac) and during the iMovie presentation, there was a kid incorrectly quoting Darth Vader (Luke, I am your father!) to demonstrate new audio effects a la the I Am Vader app."
You can check out coverage of that event at TheAppleBlog.com. (Thanks Abraham!)
Collider.com displays a number of fun alternative movie posters and Star Wars is highly represented. We've seen a few of these before, but I do believe there are some creative new ones.
