We finally have some news regarding Dave Filoni's new series, Star Wars Resistance!

According to a German news source the long awaited Star War Resistance will premiere in Germany on October 13th with a two-part season opener titled, "The Recruit". The first season will contain 22 episodes with 10 of them airing this year before their usual mid-season break. Florian (@germanjedi) was the first to break the news on Twitter...



Along with that news came a plot synopsis for the premiere episodes…

"Resistance fighter Poe Dameron tasks young pilot Kazuda "Kaz" Xiono with spying on the First Order. At the time, little was known about the secret organization and its strength.

In order to fulfill his mission, Kaz travels to the space station Colossus which is being used by many ships to refuel and do repairs. However, there are also dangerous races taking place there. After Kaz bragged with his piloting skills at his arrival there, he is soon drawn into one of the races..."

So that's all there is for now and keep in mind this information applies to Germany, not North America. But I'm sure more information about premiere dates and a trailer cannot be far behind now. Cant' wait!
