Disney+ Announces Date For Star Wars: Ahsoka!

Today Disney+ has unveiled August 23rd, 2023 as the highly anticipated premiere date for Lucasfilm's upcoming series, Star Wars: Ahsoka. Star Wars fans will be treated to a TV spot tonight during the NBA Finals Game 3!

Star Wars: Ahsoka takes place in a galaxy still grappling with the aftermath of the Empire's fall. This enthralling series follows the adventures of Ahsoka Tano, a former Jedi Knight, as she embarks on a mission to investigate a looming threat to the galaxy. Headlined by the talented Rosario Dawson, Ahsoka boasts an ensemble cast of remarkable actors! Natasha Liu Bordizzo takes on the role of Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead embodies Hera Syndulla and Lars Mikkelsen portrays Grand Admiral Thrawn!



The series is written by Dave Filoni, continuing some of the stories from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Joining Filoni as executive producers are Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck.
