Star Wars Celebration Anaheim: Day 1 Recap

What a whirlwind of Star Wars news today at Star WarsCelebration in Anaheim, California! Whew! Here are a few of the highlights!

Obi-Wan Kenobi Premieres



The long awaited series Obi-Wan Kenobi premiered on Disney+ earlier than expected, but before the show started it’s streaming run, fans at Star Wars Celebration were treated to a premiere of galactic proportions! The event included a visit from almost the entire cast as well as a exclusive poster handed out to those who were able to attend the screening!

Release dates were announced for upcoming Lucasfilm projects

Two new streaming series from Lucasfilm finally confirmed their release dates on Disney+. The first, Andor, will premiere on August 31st!



Willow, a follow up to the Warwick Davis classic, will premiere on November 30th



We also received news about a new Star Wars streaming series called Skeleton Crew with Jude Law premiering in 2023!



With a shocking appearance by Harrison Ford Lucasfilm also announced the upcoming Indiana Jones film will release summer of 2023!
