Celebrating 10 Years Of Lucasfilm Animation
We here at the Force.net and the Forcecast podcast are celebrating 10 years of Lucasfilm Animation in style and we want you to be a part of it!
Hard to believe it was 10 years ago when The Clone Wars first hit the air and would run for six amazing seasons. And of course that ground-breaking show was soon followed by Star Wars Rebels which again captured the imagination of Star Wars fans from all over the world! Both shows provided the fans a much needed fix and had some of the most compelling and visually striking Star Wars storylines the franchise has put forth.
Not only are we celebrating with the greatest line-up ever assembled for a Star Wars podcast on May 4th, sorry you'll have to listen to find out, but we’ve got great interviews lined up that will help us travel back in time to the beginning and see how it all started.
Of course, neither of these shows would have existed if not for the legions of fans that not only embraced pre-existing legendary characters such as Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Count Dooku and Darth Maul but we would also welcome brand-new characters into our hearts. Characters such as Ahsoka Tano, Hera Syndulla, Ezra Bridger and Asajj Ventress have all become legendary, staking a claim and soaring to the top of many fan lists.
This is where you come in! We want to hear from all of you regarding your personal favorite characters, moments, episodes and storylines from the last ten years and over 200 episodes of Star Wars animation. Then we’ll gather all the results, post them, and then discuss them live on the Forcecast podcast! Who knows, maybe we’ll even read one of your submissions on the air so be sure to include your name and where you’re from!
Simply email me, steve@theforce.net, and let me know your answers to the following questions:
-Favorite character (good and bad)
-Favorite episode(s)
-Most memorable moment
-Favorite storyline
It’s okay if you haven’t seen every single episode from both shows, or prefer one series over another, just search your heart and let us know what think! Remember, there are no wrong answers and we want to hear from as many of you as possible!
Can’t wait to see the results!
Till next time…MTFBWY.
