Our good friend "Master Devwi" sends us this update on FREE (that's right, free) showings of The Clone Wars theatrical release at select Regal Entertainment Group movie theaters:
"This summer, select Regal Entertainment Group theaters in the United States will be offering free showings of Star Wars: The Clone Wars! Part of the Free Family Film Festival, The Clone Wars and other G and PG movies will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on a first-come first-served basis.
It looks like most, if not all, of The Clone Wars showings will be in June. For exact dates and locations, please check Regal?s website."
In the current state of the economy, getting something for free is a welcomed sight. Throw in the fact that it's a Star Wars movie that you get to see at no cost, and the deal gets even sweeter.
If you missed out on seeing The Clone Wars in theaters last year, or just want to go see it for a repeat viewing on the big screen, now's your chance!
Thanks to "Master Devwi" for this awesome update!
UPDATE: Just got word from our friend Gene that AMC Theaters will be holding $1.00 movie viewings on Wednesday mornings all summer long as part of their Summer MovieCamp to benefit charities. Star Wars: The Clone Wars is scheduled to be shown on August 5th.
