Star Wars is Everywhere returns with our biggest post yet of the ever-growing series. The question is, once we get to Episode VI, will you read the posts I through IV, or IV-VI and then I-III? We have quite a bit for you today so sit back, relax and enjoy...
From TFN reader Chris in Cleveland, OH:
"The British edition of the TomTom GPS has a Star Wars voice option download. Vader is first, with C-3PO, Yoda, and Han coming over the next few months. On the bottom right side of the of the web page there is a video of Vader recording his voice for use. Very funny."
While they're great for the environment, electric cars can apparently pose a hazard to pedestrians since those pedestrians can't hear the cars coming. A remedy has been proposed that would add numerous sounds to the cars, including Star Wars sounds, in order for them to be heard. More here at DailyMail.co.uk.
We have another reader submission, this time from Julie:
"I?m an artist/designer in Canada working on a little project I call Moo Moo 100: One Hundred Ways to do the Moo Moo. The premise of this is to take a vintage moo moo pattern and recreate it differently 100 times.
My husband and I are pretty huge Star Wars fans (he?s a little crazy-like about it), so I figured it?d be fitting to honor Jabba?s slave-girl uniform, the Golden Bikini, in my collection of Moo Moos. I generally post a new Moo once a week. Leia?s Moo Moo is number 28 in my collection and will be posted tonight at midnight on my blog, to coincide with May the Fourth."
We may be a day late but the link still works! (Thanks Julie!)
