New Episode VII Casting, Shooting Location Rumors

Latino Review has been pretty quiet about Star Wars recently, which means it's time for them to resurface with more unsubstantiated claims. Today, they bring us a three-part rumor report:
- Heading to New Mexico: LR seconds One Headlight Ink's report that Episode VII will film in New Mexico, adding that it will be in Las Cruces, NM, but that "very little will be shot in Las Cruces along with Los Angeles and 90% will be done in London when filming gets underway in 2014."
- Atonement co-star read for a role: The latest actor to enter the casting process is Saoirse Ronan, according to LR. Their source wouldn't say what part Ronan read for, but did say that "there will be a female villain part as well." EU fans are probably (incorrectly) putting two-and-two together right now.
- Cumberbatch is a go: This is, verbatim, what LR says in the matter of Benedict Cumberbatch, who has carefully avoided outright confirming or denying that he will be in any Star Wars movies: "DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE ABOUT BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH NOT BEING IN STAR WARS. HE IS IN THE MOVIE! In fact, he will be in all three Star Wars films! It’s all a smoke screen." As I've said before, it is certainly interesting how cagey Cumberbatch is being right now. Even so, nothing that Latino Review has said should be taken as confirmation.
For what it's worth, Bleeding Cool (they of "J.J. Abrams is dropping out of Episode VII" fame)
supported one part of Latino Review's report: "Saoirse Ronan has had a meeting and read for one of the lead roles – to the best of my knowledge,
the lead role – in Star Wars Episode VII."
