James Earl Jones Retires As The Voice Of Darth Vader
James Earl Jones, who has always provided Darth Vader’s iconic voice, will not record new dialogue for future Star Wars projects.
Lucasfilm will now use an AI program that can recreate his voice. Vanity Fair reported that Ukrainian startup Respeecher was tasked with creating a version of Jones’ voice as it sounded in the original trilogy.
James Earl Jones last recording as Vader came in The Rise of Skywalker.
