Another Positive Update On Jake Lloyd

It's a new year and with that comes another very positive update on Jake Lloyd.

Last March, an interview with Lisa Lloyd, Jake's mother, was posted where she discussed his condition and what the future might hold. This time, Jake himself sat down for a conversation about his current state and the amazing progress he's made of late.

He recently completed an 18-month stay at an inpatient mental health facility and now resides at a new rehabilitation center that allows him to come and go as he wishes.

When Star Wars fans were brought up, he says "The experience I've had with the fans is immediately therapeutic. Right now, it's still therapeutic. It's helpful for people and healthy. It isn't something I'd shy away from."

Perhaps Jake will be able to return to meeting fans at some point as it's been many, many years since he made a public appearance.
