Hopefully you have been reading Steve's amazing articles he's been writing for fans here at TheForce.net recently. It started with one and quickly grew to the point we just absorbed him onto the crew! You can look forward to more great content from Steve in the upcoming months. For now here's a little bit about him

Steve Dunk

I was born on an island, Vancouver Island. Yes, I know technically it’s just Canada, but it still counts as an island. Now I live just outside of Toronto and spend my days obsessing over most things in geek culture. I am the proud owner of a failed movie review website and have been blogging on and off for several years.

I was 14 months old when my brave parents took my brother and I to see Star Wars in 1977. We were too young to fully understand what was going on, but you don’t fight fate. 40 plus years later and here I am, not only still in love with that magical universe and all that encompasses it, but now I’m writing about it!

As a child of the 80’s Star Wars was a big part of my life, like all my friends we were in, hook, line and sinker. We had the toys, the books, the records, you name it. George Lucas had sprinkled Force dust on us and we went willingly.

I’m a class of ’77 member but love the overall direction the new films and other canon materials. I’m a dedicated believer in Father Dave Filoni and everything that he does. I don’t hate the prequels, its just complicated…

I’m a huge cinephile and poster/art collector, well travelled, don’t like sports (sorry) and have lots of Star Wars books…and two dogs. I’m married but she likes Lord of the Rings so…

My ranking is: ESB, ANH, RO, TLJ, ROTS, TFA, ROTJ, AOTC, TPM.

Favorite Books: Thrawn Trilogy, Lost Stars and Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter

Favorite Characters: Lots, but Asaajj Ventress is up there…

Favorite Poster: Forever the ESB Style “A” original by Roger Kastel

Favorite Comic run: Mainly the DH stuff but really like the new Darth Vader series…

Favorite Droid: Chopper, IG-88 and the Interrogation Droid
