We had previously reported on Ashley Eckstein returning to San Diego Comic-Con to host her second Her Universe panel at the famed convention. Now, the voice of Ahsoka Tano has taken to the Her Universe blog in order to unveil her SDCC exclusives...
"I can?t believe that San Diego Comic Con 2011 is almost here! We have been working so hard on all of our new products for the convention season this year, and I am so excited to finally give you a sneak peek of something today! We are going to have two convention exclusives this year that will be available in limited quantities at San Diego Comic Con, Dragon*Con and New York Comic Con ONLY.
For Star Wars we are unveiling a new charm bracelet! We plan to release a new set of charms every year, so you will want to make sure that you get a bracelet as a base for this great collectors piece. Even though we have been designing with the symbols a lot already, I felt like using the Star Wars symbols for our first charm set made the most sense. This year, we are releasing 4 charms. We will be selling an Imperial logo charm and a Rebel Alliance charm starting at San Diego Comic Con and also on our website. As our convention exclusive we will have ONLY 150 charms of the Naboo symbol available at San Diego Comic Con. Finally, for the holidays in the fall, we will be releasing a Jedi symbol charm on our website. The bracelet and charms are all sterling silver plated and the bracelet comes with a charm of our exclusive Star Wars by Her Universe symbol. The Naboo charm will retail for $12.00."
In addition to the Star Wars-related exclusives, fans of Battlestar Galactica may be excited to check out the new toaster necklace that will also be featured as a convention exclusive. The necklaces are sterling silver, will cost $60, and will be limited to a quantity of 300. Click on the thumbnails above for full views and then make sure to visit the Her Universe site for more blog entries from Ashley along with the full range of Her Universe gear.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
