NOTE: Marvels Comics #81 tells a story that happens a few days after the heroes return from Bakura (originally it was supposed to be right after Episode VI, but hey I'm flexible). In the story Han, Leia, and Artoo go back to Tatooine to retrieve some money that Han had in a bank account before he was frozen. Unfortunately, Artoo is kidnapped by the Jawas forcing Han and Leia to attack the sandcrawler. In the sandcrawler Artoo discovers that the Jawas have recovered Boba Fett after the Sarlac spat him out. Boba also has memory loss, that is until Han jumps in the crawler to get Artoo. Han works quickly to get himself, Artoo, and Fett to safety as the crawler heads for the Sarlac pit, but, at the wrong moment, Fett's memory comes back and Han has to jump out of the crawler before he can save Fett. Both Boba Fett and the crawler crash into the pit.
Now if you've read The Bounty Hunter Wars, and the short story Last One Standing you probably know that there are many continuity problems with this story, but it is an fix easy. When you read the story just skip the Boba Fett parts. At the end Han jumps in the crawler, saves Artoo, and the jumps to safety before the sandcrawler crashes (probably not into the Sarlac as indicated in the comic, more likly a clif or a big rock). If you do this you'll lose a little of the exciting conclusion, but the story does become a nice reflection for Han as he tries to readjust to the universe after being frozen for a year. The story also has some neat moments where Han and Leia learn that just because they killed Jabba, Darth Vader, and The Emperor it doesn't mena they've solved the universe's problems.
