Congrats goes out to the writing team of Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III for their win in the "Best Writing In A Television Series" category at last night's Annie Awards ceremony. Along with Seth Green and Matt Senreich, the winning Robot Chicken writing team includes Geoff Johns, Matthew Beans, Zeb Wells, Hugh Sterbakov, Breckin Meyer, Mike Fasolo, Douglas Goldstein, Tom Root, Dan Milano, Kevin Shinick and Hugh Davidson.
Unfortunately, The Clone Wars went home empty handed. Cast members Nika Futterman and Corey Burton lost out to James Hong from Kung Fu Panda Holiday in the voice acting category. Kung Fu Panda Holiday also bested TCW in the category of best television production. The aforementioned Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III writing team edged out TCW scribe Daniel Arkin.
The full list of winners can be viewed at the official site of the Annie Awards.
