Star Wars Battlefront Gets A Release Window
Electronic Arts announced today that Star Wars Battlefront, the next installment (and partial reboot) of the award-winning franchise, will be released sometime during the Holiday 2015 timetable. In a conference call with investors, EA boss Andrew Wilson broke the news, also saying that it would be the company's "major first person shooter" for the year. This will be a change in format from the first two Battlefront games which had the option to play from a third-person perspective. One can assume then that it will likely bear resemblance to EA and DICE's other popular shooter franchise, Battlefield.
Not much is known about the game, but with the release scheduled for a little over a year away, it is reasonable to think that we'll be hearing more about the much-anticipated sequel in the upcoming months. For more information, you can visit the official Battlefront website!
