NYCC Star Wars Rebels Panel To Feature 'Imperial Paraphernalia'

The official Star Wars Twitter account has been teasing Lucasfilm's Star Wars Rebels panel at this weekend's New York Comic Con, and the message seems clear: attendees should steer clear of any pro-Empire propaganda distributed at the event.

The Imperial propaganda machine is working to destabilize #StarWarsRebels at #NYCC. Avoid Imperial paraphernalia given out after the panel.

As Pete at Lightsaber Rattling reminds us, Lucasfilm handed out Star Wars Rebels pins at Celebration Europe II, and the pins featured a secret URL pointing to schematics for the starship Ghost, the home base of the show's heroes. It wouldn't surprise me if they dropped another hint at this panel, the theme of which is supposed to be the bad guys of the series (i.e. the Empire).

Lucasfilm's Pablo Hidalgo will host the Rebels panel from 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. ET on Saturday, October 12 on the "Empire Stage." Stay tuned to TFN for complete coverage of the panel.
