Tsuneo Sanda has been illustrating in the Star Wars universe since 2004, an exercise he considers a pastime more than work. He considers each of his artworks like one of his children, and hopes they will continue to inspire for years to come. Living and working in Japan, Sanda has made many friends around the world through his Star Wars illustrations, and is excited to have shared his love of art with fans regardless of country, culture, or language.
Sanda will not be in Artist Alley, but out on the Exhibitor floor next to “The Art of Ralph McQuarrie” booth, where he will have a print of Ralph that he drew for sale. He will also have sketches or a sketchbook available along with other Star Wars and Disney prints for sale. Additionally, he is planning to collect donations for earthquake relief in Japan.
