Tim Proctor has been a huge Star Wars fan since the release of A New Hope back in 1977. He discovered his passion for art around the age of three and later earned his BFA from the Memphis College of Art. Since then he has been working as a freelance illustrator and designer. He is excited to once again be a part of the Star Wars Celebration Art Show after creating a print for Star Wars Celebration V back in 2010. In addition to the Celebration Art Show, Tim also created a custom helmet for the "As You Wish" helmet project as well as limited edition sketch cards to be given out at the 501st bash during the event. To date, Tim has worked on seven Star Wars sketch card sets as well as many other properties including Bettie Page, Night of the Living Dead, Mars Attacks, Nevermore Alice and much more.
Mark Raats has been formally working for the Lucasfilm family for over a decade, and while it's fair to say that his involvement in the Star Wars universe ultimately came about through his occupation as an animator in the late '70s and early '80s, he's the first to admit that it's always a privilege to be invited to play in George Lucas' yard. Celebration VI will be his second Celebration.
From Mark: "My Ralph McQuarrie piece will be sold through Ralph's booth and I'll sign each of the prints so, hopefully that will give folk something else of mine to acquire if they feel so inclined. I also have a work in progress tutorial on my C-VI piece that might be of some modest interest to some artsy folk."
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
