Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy recently talked Star Wars Episode VII with ABC News Radio. Here's a snippet from the ABC News post:
Kennedy tells ABC News Radio that work is well under way on a script for the movie, which will go into pre-production sometime in the spring.
What else can she tell us about the new Star Wars project? She teases, "I have no immediate update, but hopefully in January I'll have something that I can say."
One assumes that the potential January announcement to which Kennedy refers is the name of the director. It's unlikely that Lucasfilm will announce any story details before confirming who will direct the film. Keep it locked to TFN and we'll let you know as soon as we hear more about Episode VII!
