Disney Chairman Talks LFL & SW Episode VII

Posted By Eric on November 30, 2012

Alan Horn, chairman of The Walt Disney Company, spoke briefly to the Vulture blog at a party celebrating Disney's 2012 productions. Here's what he had to say about the secrecy surrounding his company's stunning acquisition of Lucasfilm:

"But really, I think everybody was mature about it," he continued. "It's important to keep these things confidential, so people just kept their mouths shut." How many people knew about Episode VII? "Not many. It was a very small group. Probably a smaller group than knew about the attack on bin Laden!"

Click here to read the rest of Horn's conversation with Vulture, including his thoughts on a timeframe for the announcement of Episode VII's director.
