Alan Horn, chairman of The Walt Disney Company, spoke briefly to the Vulture blog at a party celebrating Disney's 2012 productions. Here's what he had to say about the secrecy surrounding his company's stunning acquisition of Lucasfilm:
"But really, I think everybody was mature about it," he continued. "It's important to keep these things confidential, so people just kept their mouths shut." How many people knew about Episode VII? "Not many. It was a very small group. Probably a smaller group than knew about the attack on bin Laden!"

It's Official: Star Wars Episode VII Rolls Cameras May 2014 Posted By Philip on March 18, 2014: StarWars.com has posted the news that the cameras will roll on Episode VII in May 2014. The release also goes on to say, "It has also been confirmed that Star Wars: Episode VII is set about 30 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, and will star a trio of new young leads along with some very familiar faces.
