Description: From the beginning, food promotions have been used to market the Star Wars saga to a worldwide audience. Food items represent one of the largest, oldest, and most diverse categories of collectibles with well over 10,000 different food-related packages, premiums, and store displays. Many collectors are familiar with the various U.S. promotions, but there have also been interesting and often obscure food promotions from over 100 other countries. Description: Real-world science not good enough for you? Need a lightsaber, hyperdrive, sonic screwdriver, or flying Delorean? Star Wars author (and failed PhD physics candidate) Timothy Zahn will offer some pointers on how to create your own science and technology and make it look real (or close enough). Topics will include how science works, how technology works, internal consistency, and a spot-the-flaw competition with unique yet lame prizes.

Star Wars and NASA: Science Fiction & Science Fact

Description: They warned us that this place could be a little rough, but we can?t help revisiting the most famous watering hole in the galaxy. Creature expert Tom Spina, who has devoted years to tracking the history of the cantina aliens, is joined by Nick Maley (part of the original UK creature crew) and Jon Berg (part of the original ILM cantina crew) to explore the secrets of this classic scene. With rare photos, prop reconstructions, firsthand accounts and some never-before-seen images, this one is a must for fans of the original Star Wars.

Celebration VI Exclusive! Star Wars: Smuggler?s Gambit

Description: Written especially for Celebration VI, Smuggler?s Gambit by Kyle Newman will be performed live by the best voices in the business at this world premiere. Description: Executive Producer/Director Shane Felux is best known from his first film, Star Wars Revelations, which created an internet phenomenon in millions of views and received worldwide attention for work that rivaled Hollywood production quality from his basement and backyard. Felux?s second film, Pitching Lucas, garnered both the George Lucas Select and Audience Choice awards in the 2007 Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge. Felux worked with ABC/ Disney executives on a new online sci-fi/action series titled Trenches, which was later shown on Sony's Crackle.com. Felux shares his knowledge from basement to studio productions, what it takes to get there, and everything in between.
