GamesCom: The Old Republic Coverage

GamesCom 2011 is currently underway in Cologne, Germany and the big news coming out of the convention in regards to Star Wars: The Old Republic revolves around the demo of the Operation: Eternity Vault raid. This particular raid was first previewed back in June during E3. See the video below for a reminder of the raid's trailer.

Well, now the actual gameplay of the raid has been demonstrated per the next video courtesty of GameSpy.com.

UPDATE: More TOR news coming out of Gamescom includes the introduction of the Huttball Player vs. Player Warzone. SWTOR.com provides a new trailer that you can view here along with the following description:

Forging ahead, PCGamer.com dives into the accessibility of raids in The Old Republic and IGN has a nice overview write-up on TOR's presence at GamesCom.

TechSpot.com reports that EA will be limiting digital and retail copies of Star Wars: The Old Republic, whenever it is released, in order to create a smooth launch without servers crashing.
