"Saturday was Rebels day at Armageddon in Melbourne Australia

The Rebel Legion played host to Jay Laga'aia (Capt Typho), Tom Taylor & Colin Wilson (Invasion Comics) and Stewart McKenny (Star Wars Artist) for their photo shoot.

Jay was presented with a Tatooine Base patch and coin as an honorary member of the Rebel Legion, Tom, Colin & Stewart were also presented with Rebel Legion Patches.

The coolest part was that Jay brought along his own Capt typho helmet, truly one of the coolest Star Wars Actors."

For Star Wars fan parents, getting your kids into Star Wars can be a fantastic bonding experience filled with a lot of joy. On the othe hand, Peter Hartlaub at SFGate.com wonders if that youngling Star Wars love can become too much of a good thing.




The Brunswick News, via the California Chronicle, talks with devoted Star Wars fans regarding the greatness that is The Empire Strikes Back.

"I figure this is worth passing along to you guys. Geek Singer/Songwriter John Anealio has penned a song titled 'A Stormtrooper for Halloween', which is now avaliable here with a 'pay what you want' scheme.

Awesome song, really worth checking out. He's also written one called Millenium Falcon for Christmas, which is on his album, Sci-Fi Songs" (Thanks Andrew!)
