TFN reader Dan wrote in with a Star Wars reference he spotted TV...
"The latest episode of Leverage (Season 4, Episode 3: The 15 Minutes Job) on TNT had an ongoing debate throughout the episode between two main characters (Parker and Hardison) on the merits of "puppet Yoda" vs. "CGI Yoda".
Only episodes 1 and 2 are currently on the TNT site to view online. We're guessing that episode 3 will end up there sooner or later. (Thanks Dan!)
"Sam Labertew?s fight against acute lymphoblastic leukemia requires two weapons: strong chemotherapy and a steady regime of ?Star Wars? movies, games and cartoons. So it was fitting that the Skywalker Ranch be part of Sam?s healing.
On June 20, a stretch limo picked up the Labertews from their Yorkville home and drove them to O?Hare International Airport to begin their adventure, courtesy of Make-a-Wish Foundation.
?For two years, Sam went through cancer treatments,? said his father Joel Labertew, who serves Joliet?s fire chaplain and pastor of Southwest Community Church in Plainfield. ?This trip gave him something extraordinary to look forward to.?'
Each Friday, CNN's The Marquee Blog brings forth a "Friday's Top Five" list. Last week included Star Wars as the list featured the top five space movies. (Thanks Brian!)
A New Hope and Raiders of the Lost Ark both land on EW.com's list of "30 Classic Opening Movie Scenes." (Thanks Jay!)
Last week, GameTrailers TV aired a special on the upcoming BioShock Infinite video game and if you watch this preview video between the 8:45 and 9:10 marks, you'll catch a glimpse of a Star Wars reference. (Thanks SithPadawan!)

"Death Star in World Cup Climbing Competition in Sheffield, GBR on 7/2
At 5:49sec in the recap video available here, you can clearly see the large circular Death Star (volume hold) custom made by the course setters for this competition. The announcers repeatedly made "Skywalker" and "Death Star" jokes while the men climbed this problem and even during an earlier portion on the competition shortly after they had first pointed it out.
My two passion Star Wars and bouldering : )" (Thanks David!)
And last but not least:
What started out as a school project, ended up becoming a 5 minute Star Wars Serbian fan film...
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
