Every time Lucasfilm registers a new domain name, it sends fans into a frenzy of guessing games as to what the title might mean. As WhatCulture.com reports, last week saw eight new domain names registered with some interesting titles.
On May 2nd, Lucasfilm registered terms such as StarWars1313.com (Whois) and SW1313.com (Whois) via the brand protection agency Corporate Service Company. They now own no less than eight domains with the term, including; 1313starwars.com, 1313starwars.net, 1313sw.com, 1313sw.net, starwars1313.com, starwars1313.net, sw1313.com, and sw1313.net.
Could this be a working title for the proposed Boba Fett movie that Joe Johnston mentioned last year?
Check out the full report here and thanks to Jimmy Mac for the heads up!
UPDATE: Fan of TheForce.net David N. writes in with even more info.
"Apparently Lucasfilm isn't just registering domain names. A Google search of "Star Wars 1313" turn this up from the U.S. Patent and Trademark office website.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
