SW Night With The Port Huron Fighting Falcons

Our friend Jon Leopold of the 501st sent over information regarding another fun Star Wars event this coming weekend...

"The Port Huron Fighting Falcons are hosting Star Wars Night on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at McMorran Arena. The players will be wearing specialty Star Wars jerseys to be auctioned off for charity. Notice the background on the jersey is actually the Death Star surface. Proceeds benefit the Blue Water Area Humane Society. Lord Vader will surely hire the best bounty hunters from all over the galaxy to bid on this one-of-a-kind piece of hockey/Star Wars memorabilia!

Fan can test their skills at the Blaster Range and other fun activities. Over 35 characters from the 501st and Rebel Legions will invade the arena; some will be on skates. The action goes into hyperspeed as the Fighting Falcons take on the Janeville Jets at 7:11 p.m.

Tickets for Star Wars Night and all Port Huron home games are available at the McMorran Arena box office, all Ticketmaster locations and www.ticketmaster.com. For more information call 810-966-3800.
