Yesterday, rumors surfaced through the site FirstShowing.net that Lucasfilm's upcoming film Red Tails would be going through major reshoots and re-writes that could effect the plot. These changes were apparently due to Geroge Lucas' dissatisfaction with director Anthony Hemingway's work on the WWII film and the rumor went on to say that George would be directing the reshoots himself.
Lucasfilm, on the other hand, says not so fast. In a statement given to DigitalSpy.com, Lucasfilm responded with the following:
"The story that is circulating about production on Red Tails is completely inaccurate," Lucasfilm told DS.
"George Lucas and Rick McCallum are very pleased with the work Anthony Hemingway did directing the film and additional shooting that is scheduled to take place was built into production before it began, as it is on all our films."
We'll keep you posted if we hear more on the matter. Otherwise, look for Red Tails to make it to theaters some time this year.

I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
