I'm not much of a betting man, but I'd be willing to put my republic credits on the line that the top three bidders (in no specific order) for this Indiana Jones auction will be Ed Dolista, Mitchell Hallock, and Les David. I can see them now - hunched over their keyboards, gazing at their monitors intently, unknowingly out-bidding each other at a fever pace. Who will emerge from the bidding madness at the end and become the owner of this iconic piece of cinema history?

In an auction to benefit The Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, George Lucas has donated a rare iconic piece of movie history to help raise money to advance the human rights movement throughout the world. Here's part of the auction description:
"Now, you have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own one of the famous fedoras actually worn by Harrison Ford during production of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Of the custom fedoras used during the filming of Indy's fourth big screen adventure, this is one of the 'slightly aged' versions of the iconic headgear, showcased when the rugged and rumpled adventurer has gotten himself into a tight spot.
"Indiana Jones' hat is arguably one of the most famous hats in cinema history. This hat is particularly special as it is from the personal collection of the director -- the one and only George Lucas!"

Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated.
