Microsoft released a new Spring Showcase Preview video for the upcoming Kinect Star Wars video game that you can check out below courtesy of FanboltGaming. Podracing, lightsaber dueling and dance modes are all demonstrated.
While I've seen a little negative press out there stemming from this new demo video, that negativity seems to be coming from folks who had already made up their minds that they're not going to like the game. Staff members from GameReactorTV seem a little more open minded in the following video. They present their thoughts and seem to dig the podracing mode...
Like we had noted in previous posts regarding Kinect Star Wars, it seems as though the motion controls have been tightened up following early poor reviews of their responsiveness. If you're looking for this game to be a hardcore Force Unleasted-style experience with motion controls, then you'll most likely be disappointed. However, if you look at it for the family-style multiplayer fun that it can offer to fans of all ages, then there is plenty of room for optimism. We'll be sure to keep you posted as we draw ever closer to the release.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
