A while back, we posted on new domains listed and purchased by Lucasfilm. One caught TFN reader Bill's eye and they found out more information right here on TheForce.Net in our very own Unofficial Encyclopedia in the Arcana section. Possible spoilers, highlight it if you want 'em:
A recent domain registered by Lucasfilm was COMMERCEGUILD.COM. Been wondering how the group might fit into Episode II? Here's some answers:
Transport Guild In the second screenplay draft of Star Wars: A New Hope, the Transport Guild, along with the Power Guild, arranged for a series of assassinations within, and rigged elections of, the ranks of the Great Senate. They then took control of the Senate, but were opposed by the Jedi Bendu. The Guilds declared the Jedi traitors, and tried and executed most of them. The Guild-controlled Senate then twisted the laws to their own designs, and the Empire was born.
Sounds like something we'll see in Episode II - and this fits with other rumors we've been hearing!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated.
