Lucasfilm Starts Official SW Facebook Page

Lucasfilm has just launched the official Star Wars saga Facebook page. Shortly after today's Blu-Ray news broke, the page began posting artwork from the set's new documentaries. Lucasfilm also promises that they'll "continue to post more exciting info about the Blu-ray release!"

The first post from Lucasfilm on its new page invites fans to "check back here for the latest news, special events and more."

Of course, an official Facebook page for StarWars.com already exists, and it will most likely remain the place where StarWars.com stories appear. The new page seems to be playing a slightly different role, as indicated by the Blu-Ray promotional posts.
