Fanboys director Kyle Newman got the interview treatment from the Orlando Sentinel where he shared his thoughts on the new economic stimulous package. Oh..wait...nope...he's talking Fanboys! See the intro below and click here for the interview. Congrats to Kyle on the latest list of expanded cities to get theatrical releases!
"Fanboys is a comedy that went through some highly publicized drama before it ever reached a movie theater.
Years in the works, embraced by the people it pays tribute to (and mocks), it was taken from the filmmaker and subjected to re-shoots and editing by The Weinstein Co. It became the subject of a heated online campaign by fanboys (filmschoolrejects.com, aintitcoolnews.com) who forced the company to return the piece to filmmaker Kyle Newman, who restored it to something resembling his original cut. Release dates came and went. This daft and sweet road comedy about Star Wars fans who, in 1998, set out to steal an unfinished copy of The Phantom Menace from George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch, is finally in theaters. We reached Newman, 32, in Los Angeles."
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
