"Zayne Carrick isn't the sort of inspirational leading man the Han Solos and Luke Skywalkers of Star Wars are. And while that could easily be his biggest selling point as a character, so far Zayne has seemed to be just another of the series' flaws.
However, every now and then an issue will come along and remind me of the potential this book has. The previous two issues may have failed to reinvigorate the series, but issue #38 is a much more fitting example of what can be done with this corner of the Star Wars-verse."
"Zachery does a great job with his art work here. At first glance, the art looked ?dirty? by the way it was drawn, but once you?ve read the story and see the darkness of the mystery, the style of art makes complete sense, especially since this isn?t a ?bright and sunny? story. One complaint I do have is Zayne looking older than he is, but it?s still done so well and captures the story Miller wanted to tell I just can?t complain too much."
