Paul S. Kemp has offered up his thoughts on writing Crosscurrent in his latest LiveJournal entry. See the expert below and click here for the full entry.
"I think my greatest strength as a writer is in creating compelling characters and putting them through their paces. Crosscurrent, I believe, reflects that quite well. The primary reason I wanted to use Jaden Korr (who'd never featured in a novel before) rather than one of the name characters of the setting was so that I would have a bit more freedom with the character arc, backstory, and so on. Jaden turns out to be interestingly complicated and I'm really quite pleased with how his story unfolded. I'm equally pleased with the arcs for the other characters and I hope you are, too. As a bonus, I think Crosscurrent features some of the best dialogue I've written."
Crosscurrent arrives in paperback on January 26, 2010.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
