Dr. Greg Zeschuk just presented Star Wars: The Old Republic in the currently ongoing EA press conference at E3. He noted that an "army" of the best artists, producers, talent, etc. have been working on the game to bring a passioned and demanding fan base the game they deserve. During E3, we're going to get details and video displaying raids, Tatooine, boss battles and more.
But most of that will have to wait until later in the week as the focus for The Old Republic today is a new cinematic video titled, "Return." It's already online at SWTOR.com who present the following written intro...
"Protected by the legendary Jedi Order, the Galactic Republic stood as a bastion of peace in the galaxy for a thousand generations. Several centuries ago, the greatest threat the galaxy has ever known emerged in the form of the dark Sith Empire. After a volatile war, the Republic emerged victorious and the Sith were assumed to be extinct. Nonetheless, the Jedi have maintained a constant vigil over the ancient Sith homeworld, to protect the galaxy from the darkness that still resides in the planet?s tombs."
Keep checking back with TFN and we'll be sure to keep you updated with new video and information as it becomes available.
UPDATE: And if you'd like to watch the video here...
UPDATE #2: It should be noted that the cinematic intro video titled "Return" is not what was displayed during the EA press conference. What appeared there was more of a trailer-style montage with what looked to be a mixture of all 3 TOR cinematic videos and then some. It had very cool narration that was back and forth between Jedi Knight Satele Shan and presumably Darth Malgus. It was a nice promo video and hopefully we'll get to display that for you in due time. Just wanted to make sure there was no confusion. I've edited the post above a bit to make it all jive.
UPDATE #3: First up, here's the aforementioned video that was displayed during the EA press conference via Massively:
And for a little light reading, VentureBeat.com gets hands on with TOR cooperative play.

Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
