We're catching up with Star Wars: The Old Republic a couple days late so let's not waste any time...
First up, Friday, February 17th featured another Community Q&A at the official TOR site with BioWare's Daniel Erickcson, Damion Schubert, Georg Zoeller, Emmanuel Lusinchi, and Gabe Amatangelo answering 12 player submitted questions. Topics this week ranged from the healing powers of non-Force users to future possible mobile apps to chat bubbles and more. Click here to check it out!
In addition to the Q&A, SWTOR.com presents a new video bringing us up to speed on the first two months of TOR fun. Here's the video description...
"No MMO launch is ever perfect, but we are pleased to report that the launch of Star Wars?: The Old Republic? on December 20, 2011 was a tremendous success. More than two million copies of the game have been sold, and the servers are full of players logging in to experience their own personal Star Wars? sagas and to play with friends through the hundreds of hours of massively-multiplayer content. It?s an exhilarating experience to watch the game grow as more people join, and even more exciting to hear what players are saying they enjoy most about the game.
Watch this new video to catch up on how the game?s doing and to hear from the players themselves on what makes the game such an incredible experience."
And let's end this abbreviated TOR catch-up post with a link to IGN where the popular site goes in depth with issues that have plagued the PVP planet of Ilum.
Oh, and the Standard Edition of Star Wars: The Old Republic looks to be on sale at EA's Origin store for $49.99.
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
