Let’s talk comfortable shoes. Now is a good time to look at the shoes you’re planning to wear and decide if they are comfortable enough to survive four days, at approximately 9 hours a day of walking and standing? I think I averaged about 7 miles a day at Celebration V! So having a good pair of shoes that you can walk around all day in, is key. If you need to get a new pair, get them soon, and make sure you break them in. The worst thing to do is buy a new pair right before the show and then start wearing them at the convention. Also make sure that the socks you wear are also comfortable and won’t cause the shoes to rub. Blisters are a definite way to ruin your convention experience. (As Wuhrer said “No blisters. No blisters!”) With this key message, and the Rebelscum.com Survival Guide in hand, you’re ready to take on the whole Orance County Convention Center this August. Good luck!
Rebelscum Breast Cancer Awareness Charity Patch Posted By Philip on November 25, 2014: Thanks to everybody that ordered patches. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated. They will remain for sale in the store for anybody that still wishes to purchase them. Details after the jump.
