An artist from Massachusetts, Doug Cowan studied at Pratt Institute before he began creating artwork for Topps' Star Wars Galaxy series. A lifelong admirer of the saga, Doug continues to find new appreciation for George Lucas' vision and the artists that helped to create it. His Star Wars credits include the upcoming Limited Edition book Star Wars Art: Illustration published by Abrams, all modern Topps Star Wars Galaxy card sets, and artwork for past Celebration events. The print will be available at his table with the option of a personalized color remarque. Also, be sure to check out a time-lapse video of the original oil painting, shown here: www.facebook.com/dougcowan.net
Dave Dorman has been a freelance illustrator for more than 30 years. His working relationship with Lucasfilm started in 1989 with Dark Horse Comics' Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, soon to be followed by Star Wars: Dark Empire. Dorman's artwork for LFL continues through today, expanding the vision and mythology created by George Lucas in his Star Wars Universe. A proud member of the 501st Legion, Dorman looks forward to each and every opportunity to share his artwork and spirit of the FORCE with friends and fans all around the world. Dorman's Celebration VI print looks at an event not depicted in the films. Entitled "Breaking Ground: Imperial Base, Moon of Endor", the artwork shows us the beginnings of what would eventually lead to the construction of the second Death Star.
