There will be many different artists at the Celebration Art Show this year at Celebration VI, in Orlando. There are 34 artists that have been revealed and are listed below. Most of these artists will be within the Celebration VI Art Show area, hosted by ACME Archives, in the Celebration Experience Exhibit Hall. A few others will appear in their own booths on the exhibit floor.
We've put together a handy visual guide to all the lithographs that will be available. You can click on any of the images below to see a larger version. We have also put the price you can expect to pay. If there is no price, it means that it is not currently known. In terms of availability, every print is limited to 250 pieces, though an artist may choose to make a smaller print run. Anything unsold will either be destroyed.
This year, for the first time ACME will be offering the opportunity for attendees to pre-order art prints from artists featured in the Artist Section prior to the show allowing for a quick and easy pick-up avoiding potential long lines. Pre-orders begin on Aug 1 and will last thru Aug 15 at the DarkInk.com website. The stipulations are as follows:
• Each customer may pre-order no more than one print per artist. • Each customer must pick up their own print order at the show and will be asked to provide Acme with their printed order confirmation and show ID to match the name on the order. Customers will not be allowed to pick up orders for other people. • All prints must be picked up at the show. No prints may be shipped.
Artists with booths outside the Artist Section attending on their own will be handling their own pre-orders. More details as they are announced.
UPDATE: It also appears that the original list of 40 artists is now down to 35. No longer listed as appearing are: Randy Martinez, Adam Hughes, Alison Sohn, David Michael Beck or Carlos Garzon. UPDATE #2: As evident below Carlos Garzon is providing a print. The total count of artists is 36, and all images are available except Jason Palmer and Clark Mitchell. UPDATE #3: Tom Hodges has updated the coloring for his print! UPDATE #4: Pricing update, image update and further details, including revised art from Garzon, Hayford, and O'Neill! Also according to the pre-order site, Scott Erwert has had to pull out of the Art Show for unexpected reasons. UPDATE #5: According to the pre-order site, Clark Mitchell will not have a print for purchase at the Art Show. UPDATE #6: Jason Palmer lets us know that he's been delayed, but he will be at the show (booth #941). His print, focusing on Princess Leia, will be available Saturday & Sunday. I sent a check for $1,600.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on Monday. While it's not as much as I hoped for, it's still very much appreciated.
