Movieweb.com is reporting rumors of two possible directors being on the short list for the coveted director's chair for Star Wars Episode VII.
First up is Matthew Vaughn who directed Kick Ass, and more recently X-Men: First Class.
"This is reportedly the main reason why the filmmaker dropped out of the Fox sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past, just five days before the Star Wars: Episode VII news was announced."
Next is Colin Trevorrow, an indie filmmaker who caught George's eye this year.
"According to an insider, the indie filmmaker reportedly met with George Lucas himself to discuss the project several months ago. Colin Trevorrow's debut Safety Not Guaranteed apparently won over George Lucas, putting him on the list of potential candidates to make this highly-anticipated sequel."
