Chewie Script Lands On 2011 Black List

TFN reader Matt R. wrote in to share the following news story...

"Hey guys! Thought you may find this interesting (see link below) --- in case you aren't familiar, each year in the Hollywood biz the "Black List" is released, which is an annual compilation of the year?s ?most liked? screenplays that have not yet been produced. Very interesting to see this on the list:

CHEWIE by Evan Susser, Van Robichaux (59)
A satirical behind the scenes look at the making of Star Wars through the eyes of Peter Mayhew who played Chewbacca.

I dunno about you, but I think this would be EPIC. By the way, Black List films aren't necessarily dead-in-the-water. Often times the Black List screenplays end up being snatched up and produced as a result of this list. It's kind of the "Sundance" of screenplay-land.
