In an interview on 95.7 KJR, Billy Dee Williams told radio host Dan Roberts that he would enjoy donning his dashing attire again for Star Wars Episode VII.
"Well, I'm like everybody else, we're all speculating and we're all wondering. If they want me to participate, I'd love to participate. I love the idea of keeping the character alive. And I specifically want to keep him alive, as long as I'm alive."
Mark Hamill previously expressed his desire to see his fellow cast members, including Williams, reprise their roles, telling Entertainment Tonight, "Is Carrie and Harrison and Billy Dee and Tony Daniels, everybody that's around from the original [returning]? I want to make sure that everybody's on board here, rather than just one."
