New Jedi Order Comic Announced! Posted By Paul on February 7, 2009
This just in from Comic-Con in New York: Dark Horse will be debuting Star Wars: Invasion, a new (and apparently, ongoing!) comic series, set during the Yuuzhan Vong War, the same time-frame as the New Jedi Order novels.
It has art by the great Colin Wilson (Star Wars: Legacy), from a script by Australian playwright Tom Taylor. Two online preview issues are scheduled in May and June, and #1 is due to be hitting the shelves on 1st July!
The website Comic Book Resources has some great coverage of the launch, in the form of interviews with the writer and the artist. There's also some freaking sweet Colin Wilson art, including a Wookiee and what looks a lot like a Chiss girl fighting Yuuzhan Vong warriors.
There's also a discussion thread on TF.N's own message boards. Thus far, the response seems to involve a LOT of grinning and joy.
