Shocked that Luke plans to attack the Tof ship, the Hiromi cower, but Hookyr is inspired by his courage and convinces Hirog to stand tall. In a Tof cell, Jahn, Marruc, and Rahuhl are worried for Bahb, who was hit hard. Vowing to help Leia, Jahn forms a plan. As Tof guards bring food, Jahn and Rahuhl jump them but are hit with lunch trays and left in pain, foodless. Leia and Dani spot Den, surrounded by Tofs. Dani considers killing him, but Plif and Leia tell her to spare him for he betrayed the Nagai for her. Luke questions a Tof as Plif probes his mind. He resists, but when the Hiromi begin screaming "Talk, talk, talk!" incessantly, he breaks and tells where to find his ship. The Hiromi cheer until Plif says they'll alert other Tofs. Luke admonishes him for scaring them, then all board the Hiromi ship. As the Nagai herd Han, Lando, Arno, Leonie, the droids, and others out of the palace, Den tells them to stop, for they are now prisoners as well. Tofs swarm the area, stunning Nagai, Maccabrees, and Zeltrons. Thinking the Tofs allies, Han introduces himself to Bargthron, Second Local Tof Honcho, who promptly orders his death. R2 opens fire on the Tofs and a riot ensues. When the fighting ends, Leia and Dani arrive, revealing they outfitted R2 with a weapon. A Nagai takes aim, offended that they rejoice as his people lie wounded, but Den shoots him, defecting to the Rebels. Luke, Plif, and the Hiromi find the Merriweather , a Tof bulk cruiser shaped like a sea-going vessel, and Tahkay uses a stolen code to gain entry. Once inside, Luke has Hirog fire the main guns, using the Force to guide his shots. Tofs rush to capture them as they land. Luke defeats them with his sabers and asks the Hiromi to find the boys while he and Plif disable the security systems, but when more Tofs arrive they flee, leaving him to fight. As the Hiromi search for cells, the lights go out, for the Hoojibs ate the power cables. Holding hands for fear of the dark, they find the boys' cell and rush in. The boys pull the same stunt and begin beating them, but as Luke arrives, they apologize. A Tof sneaks unseen behind Luke, and Hirog shoots him down. Luke says he planted explosives and that they must leave, but for the moment, the Hiromi want only to cheer at beating a Tof in a fair fight.
