When Luke and Lando arrive on Zeltros, many women vie for their attention. One knows Luke from Kabray, but most just want him on sight. As Leia and her attachés arrive, she evokes the same response in local males, but the boys protect her. The Falcon brings Han, Chewie, Hoojibs, the droids, and Dani here, but Dani is too haunted by memories of Den Siva and Kiro to enjoy being home. They try to cheer her up, but she is inconsolable, intent only on convincing her rulers to fight the Nagai. As they land, Den watches from a cloaked fleet. The Hiromi arrive to conquer Zeltros, despite a lack of strength or skill. The Nagai dismiss their ships as too tiny, while Hirog, Captain Hookyr, and Tahkay, the Hiromi helmsman, dismiss the Nagai ships as too big. Luke, Plif, Lando, and Leia go before King Arnoe and Queen Leonie, who fawn over them and declare a party. Han, Chewie, and Dani show up, and as friends and lovers reunite, Luke tells of the Nagai invasion. Having seen the Tofs, Leia hopes peace can be forged with the Nagai, but Dani is against the idea, calling for genocide, and Han and Luke are also dubious. When Governor Vertag of Northern Province arrives, the boys run for Southern Province, for it was his daughters with whom they fraternized. Leia follows Dani out, but she is lost in grief. Den corners them, taunting her. Leia tries to run for help, but they are captured. Luke and Plif discuss Dani's plight, noting that Zeltrons seem to love Luke and Leia, while Nagai discount Hoojibs as pets. They overhear Hirog and Ensign Phoebe plotting to capture Arnoe and Leonie. Hirog is terrified, but Hookyr and others arrive, guns drawn. Luke tells Plif to play along as Hookyr names himself ruler of Zeltros. His people wildly cheer (though they've really done nothing yet), and his first decree is to raid a kitchen. The revelers, including a female named Dyoh, get drunk and lusty, until the Nagai and Maccabree Warriors storm the party, shoot Han, and take everyone prisoner. The group leader is Harmon. The attachés see this from outside and run to find Luke or Leia, but a Tof blocks their way. In the kitchen, as the Hiromi eat everything in sight, a Tof yells to come out with their hands up. Terrified, the "glorious" Hiromi cease all movement.
