Summary

Three Y-Wings fire at an X-Wing piloted by a woman named Minka, forcing it to crash on Saijo. There on a diplomatic mission, Han, Luke, and Leia are uncomfortable with the hero status they've inspired since toppling the Empire. Seeing the battle, shocked to see Rebels firing on each other, they take the Falcon to defend the X-Wing. Finding Minka's body in the wreckage, they bring her for medical care. She hails from an asteroid base in the Cantros System, her escorts were shot down by the Y-Wings, and her people think they've long been fighting Palpatine's troops, unaware of his death. Curious who they've been fighting, they visit Minka's base, where they meet with Durne and Sami, local Rebel leaders. Sami and Minka, lovers from Cantros VII, join them on the Falcon to check out the alleged Imperial base. Shot down, the Falcon crashes in a gully. Luke levitates Leia and Minka to safety, but the others are taken captive by Niru and several others. Listening to their conversation, Luke realizes they, too, are Rebels, and that both groups have been manipulated into thinking the others enemies. Their captors want to torture the truth from them, but Niru does not accept such methods, and when Durne appears among their captors, they expose him as a double agent. Durne orders their deaths to shut them up, but his comrades doubt him. As Luke removes his bindings, Durne pulls a gun, but Leia shoots him from above. The captors, unsure who to trust, fire on Leia and Minka, who have no choice but to stun them. Durne tries to shoot Niru to regain control, but Luke deflects the shot back at him with his 'saber. At the sight of the weapon, the captors recognize their heroes and all sides join forces. Durne is arrested, and as Luke mourns the needless killing on both sides, he and Leia wonder who Durne really worked for. As Luke says, "What's going on in this galaxy?" EnsViews Comic Review
