While on Lahsbane to learn the fate of Yom Argo, a missing Rebel, the Falcon 's engines jam. The kitten-like Lahsbees claim he died in a crash but know not of his droid. They have his tapes but want them to honor a citizen who died in the crash. Luke is irked at their immaturity (they giggle and say "Huhk" a lot), and at Dani for smothering him, while Leia is angry to be here, wishing she could search for Han. Lando, Chewie, and R2 fix the ship, learning that local pollen clogged the intake valves, a day's repair. Suddenly, an Imperial craft opens fire. As the men hide the ship under camouflage mats, 3PO tries to calm Dani and Leia, who challenge each other to find the tapes. That night, they steal a Lahsbee hot air balloon to visit the Forbidden City, where the tapes are held; Dani learned to use flying devices on Stenos. Imperials approach with several Lahsbees, having had a valve problem while hunting Argo. To keep them from seeing Leia, Dani dances sexually. The commander, having served on Zeltros, admires her dancing, then moves his troops on. A swift wind pulls Leia and the balloon over a cliff, so Dani jumps onto it, letting the wind carry them to the city. 3PO tells Lando and Luke where they've gone, and Luke follows in a glider. The city being empty, the women pick locked doors, finding jewel-filled rooms. 3PO tries to warn Lando as a Huhk attacks, then saves him from falling off a cliff as Chewie fights the Huhk. (Lahsbees become Huhks at puberty and move to the Forbidden City for safety.) With Dani as a sentry, Leia finds the tapes, but Huhks attack; both women had lost their blasters on the balloon, but Luke arrives and saves them. Chewie is losing the fight, so Lando stuns his Huhk. Later, as R2 effects repairs and the Rebels prepare to leave, the Lashbees learn that the tapes are machinery and no longer want them. Suddenly, Dani fills the Imperial ship with jewels and returns to Rik and Chihdo on Stenos.
